Twilight on the Harbor

Last month we visited the National Harbor in DC. The place offers a very different feel to the city away from the power center of the Capitol. I had just purchased my dSLR and the evening gave me the perfect chance of shooting the vibrant colors in the sky at twilight. Lucky for me, that while I forgot to carry my tripod i could place the camera on a rock and take multiple pictures to create this HDR.

By the way, I have added a new feature to my post wherein you can now rate my photos. I have also noticed that I do have a lot of you checking my post but not leaving any comments. Your comments will only help me improve over time. So feel free to post in your comments and hey.. don't be shy.

BTW, there is one drawback of rating this as 5 stars (which I just did) - As time progresses and your pix get even better, I can't rate them any higher!!..;)..

Anyways, you got the sense. Keep it up! Perhaps you can reach the 'stars' anyways, without any ratings!..:).

nice shot again, love this twilight. Reminds me of the hand in hand walk around the harbor, some soft music playing and the light show.

Bhai, this picture is simply brilliant! It captures so well the different emotions of a person in love (with Anvita bhabhi)!!

Beautiful picture, almost magical. i guess a photographer's challenge lies in his ability to portray the mundane as extraordinary; you have done exactly that.

@Avani: Well said about the different emotions.. i didn't think of it that way.. :) .. thank you

@ Barnali: only you can say it so well .. :) thank you..

Super:

Two questions:

1. Which DSLR did you finally get
2. When are you posting some tutorials on HDR on your blog.

Keep them coming Nilesh
